<p>Nowhere does it say which operating systems Duplifinder runs on. Only Windows, it seems? Do you have any plans to port it to Ubuntu? That would be my big request! :D</p>

I would bet Ubuntu (or another Debian distribution) already has several programs available to detect duplicate images...

Delete duplicates does not work. I click delete, image appears to be deleted, close and reopen program, image reappears and has not been deleted. Using Windows 7.

I've chosen the directory that contains my all Images D:/Images/, and i've checked the "Include subfolders" option. There is thousands of images in subfolders-in-subfolders in this main folder. However, it took only a few seconds to scan all these images and gave alert that there is no duplicate. For just tesing, I've chosen a subfolder in this main folder, it is still being scanned. A subfolder is taking longer than main folder? Something should be wrong i think?

It would be great if it could search & find duplicates in different folders. Duplicates usually are left somewhere we forget.

Commented Issue: Hangs Processing Comparison Image

Hi,

The app seems to hang on Vista 32-Bit Ultimate (Dell Precision M6300 all updates with no SP1) when searching through files... It seems to stop with the status bar roughly halfway and the note "Processing comparision [SIC] of image XXXXXXXXX".

I have tried this with jpg images created from Nikon E7900, Nokia N80 and created from Adobe Photoshop CS2. I simply took an image from each source and made a copy in the same folder.

The only way to stop the application is to terminate it - the Cancel button does not work. and I left it running for 10 minutes plus...

Any other info you need?

On XP Pro SP2, when i want to browse for a folder, the filebox is limited to the "My pictures" directory.
